JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a global leader in container, workspace and packaging solutions for the energy, petrochemical and general industrial end markets requires an Area Sales Manager for the intermediate bulk container product-line in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia based in Dammam on a permanent residential basis.

As a member of the International Sales team, this position is ideal for those who thrive on the challenge of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, excel at being accountable for results and deadlines, and can work smart under pressure. Be self-motivated by the opportunity to collaborate with a high-performance team to support the intermediate bulk container (IBC) product-line revenue and expansion in domestic and international markets.

The main responsibilities will be canvassing new markets, cold calling, personal visits, exhibitions visits, mailers & follow up, input in SalesForce & Quotes from SalesForce, Presenting and Manage future key accounts within own sales region; Ascertain information relevant to market developments; Coordinate with peers/coaches and management on market developments; Generate business growth by growing current customers and turning prospects into customers; Develop strategies on infiltrating new regions & markets.

REQUIREMENTS

Suitable candidates will have 3-5 years of previous experience of successful continuous employment in a Sales Management role in the Chemical, Pharmaceuticals or Agriculture industries. You will be successful if you have previous marketing experience in a technical field or experience as a technical Sales Engineer. Key competences include creative problem solving and strong communication skills both written and oral. You must be able to speak Arabic and be willing to travel.
