About the role:

We are looking for a Document Management Systems Lead to drive the Aconex strategy and roadmap for our project management environment. This is a leadership position where you will work closely with business users, project teams, and IT stakeholders to define how Aconex supports our large-scale project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the Aconex function within our PMIS portfolio, managing both strategy and execution.
  • Partner with business users and project stakeholders to define process improvements, digital workflows, and collaboration models.
  • Develop the Aconex roadmap and long-term strategy, aligning with organizational and project goals.
  • Oversee the configuration, governance, and optimization of Aconex processes including document management, correspondence, workflows, RFIs, and transmittals.
  • Work with the PMIS team to integrate Aconex with other platforms such as Primavera P6, Unifier, SAP, and SharePoint.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Aconex users, consultants, and project teams.
  • Drive adoption, training, and change management initiatives to ensure user engagement and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Oracle support as required.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting, roadmaps, and dashboards to track system usage, performance, and improvements.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management support or PMIS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of project information management systems (PMIS) and construction project lifecycles.
  • Proven experience in leading system strategy, roadmaps, and digital process transformations.
  • Solid understanding of document management, workflows, transmittals, RFIs, and project collaboration tools.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration points between Aconex and other tools (Primavera P6, Unifier, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Oracle Aconex Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
