Our client is a property developer currently developing a giga-project in Riyadh.
At present, a requirement exists for an Associate Director - Creative Designer to join its Marketing team.
The Associate Director - Creative Designer will lead the development of visual concepts and designs that communicate brand identity, captivate audiences, and elevate the company's market presence.
He/she will be responsible for developing visual concepts and designs that communicate brand identity, captivate target audiences, and enhance the development company’s market presence. This role combines creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to produce high-quality design materials across multiple platforms such as strategies, presentation, signage, digital, collateral and communications. The Creative Designer will work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to bring ideas to life and ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual aesthetics.
This role combines creativity, technical skills, and meticulous attention to detail to produce high-quality standardized materials and design economies of scale across the Development Marketing function. Working closely with marketing, product, and development teams, the Associate Director ensures brand consistency and aesthetic alignment across all visual outputs.
He/she assists with strategic, annual and budget planning as well as overseeing strategics areas including research & analytics, customer experience, placemaking & activations efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Creative Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement a creative strategy that reflects the company’s brand identity, market position, and strategic goals. Work closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment between creative direction and overall business objectives. Set a clear vision for the creative team, fostering innovation and excellence in design.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret design briefs, brainstorm ideas, and generate innovative visual concepts. Develop storyboards, sketches, and mockups to outline project concepts and gain feedback.
• Graphic Design & Visual Production: Create digital assets, such as social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and display ads, that align with brand guidelines. Design print materials, including brochures, posters, packaging, and event signage. Ensure high-quality output across all digital and print formats, optimizing designs for each platform.
• Brand Identity & Consistency: Maintain brand consistency by adhering to established brand guidelines and visual standards. Work with teams to evolve and expand the visual identity as needed to support new products, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
• Projects Contribution: Contribute to user experience team projects including digital products, websites, signage, presentations, strategies and partner with developers to ensure a seamless user experience, from concept to final implementation.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Work with project managers and team leads to plan timelines and allocate resources effectively.
• Market & Design Trend Analysis: Stay updated on design trends, industry standards, and competitors’ visual strategies to bring fresh ideas to projects. Suggest and implement new tools, techniques, and design processes that improve creativity and efficiency.
• Support leading & mentoring: Provide strategic guidance, feedback and support.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders including development, corporate marketing and strategy dept stakeholders to ensure objectives align
• Responsible for stakeholder management within the project team and external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), UX/UI tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch), and knowledge of design production processes.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across digital, print, and product formats.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a strong ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 10-12+ years in creative design roles, 3-5 years in a leadership position.
