The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

• You will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, up to C-Suite, to implement and manage our programmes.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Overall - to manage all aspects of digital solution delivery and operation on client-facing projects to enable the project/programme team to work efficiently and effectively and get access to the data they need.
• To utilise an appropriate body of knowledge (e.g. the Mace Way) project delivery methodology, standards, and templates.
• Starting with understanding the project specific requirements and how to apply standards and templates and innovation that may be required.
• Gathering requirements from project colleagues and stakeholders (DGDA and PMCs).
• Developing strategies, plans, and data and system architecture.
• Defining and managing the team (required resources and systems for the PMO and related budgets).
• Overseeing PMO utilisation of project managing key elements of software and solution life-cycle (P6, PowerBi, SharePoint, Risk Management software).
• Working with colleagues and peers as part of a development and support team in regards to PMIS (training and onboarding).
• Developing, improving and testing solutions for the PMIS (Project Management Information System).
• Overseeing the development, improvments and testing of solutions (including QA/QC) for PMIS and reporting.
• Delivery into live use including documentation.
• Developing support strategies.
• Settling solutions on to stable-state operations whilst retaining some reach-back support.
• Liaise with partner IT functions; and other stakeholder IT functions; client and supply chain partners.
• Define the Digital Team structure, recruit team member, line manage and develop the team to be high performing and support their well-being.
• To engage seamlessly with other teams within the client project eco-system.
• Define and set up governance models.
• Develop and keep your business and technical knowledge and networks current and continuously improving.

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll need to have:

• Consulting experience
• Experience in defining, developing and implementing IT solutions to solve business challenges and reporting solutions.
• Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, PowerBi and PowerApps) based solutions to improve user information access and experience.
• Experience as a Digital Lead or supporting a Digital Lead (or CTO) on one or more previous major construction projects or programmes or similar.
• Technology and how it can be applied to business problems.
• Strategic thinking and planning related to technology.
• Software selection and implementation, Software licensing.
• System and enterprise architecture.
• IT Project Management capabilities and qualifications.
• Project budgeting and cost management.
• Business case / Terms of Reference writing.
• Business analysis.
• Technology support.
• Technology and software used in the real estate and construction project management sector or similar.
• Good stake-holder management.
• People management in direct and matrix management modes.
• Information security, data protection and risk assessment.
