JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Description

- Configure and manage backup processes to ensure data protection and system integrity.
- Oversee restoration processes to recover data in case of failure or loss.
- Ensure the implementation of data protection strategies and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments related to data loss or backup failures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot backup failures to ensure the continuity of services.

Requirements:

Personal Skills

- Strong attention to detail in managing data backup configurations.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and make informed decisions.
- Problem-solving skills to handle data protection and recovery issues.

Technical Skills

- Experience with backup technologies such as Veeam, Veritas, etc.
- Knowledge of storage systems and their integration with backup solutions.
- Expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash or PowerShell.
- Skills in troubleshooting backup and restoration failures.
