Job description
- Preparing coffee and beverages: Brew espresso and prepare a variety of coffee drinks (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos). Make other beverages such as teas, smoothies, and cold brews. Follow recipes and maintain consistency in drink preparation.
- Customer service: Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and professional manner. Offer product suggestions and answer questions about the menu. Handle customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Clean coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. Keep the work area, including counters, tables, and floors, tidy and organized. Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and napkins.
- Inventory management: Monitor stock levels and alert management when supplies are running low. Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous service experience is an asset.
- Ability to interact positively with customers, take orders, and provide excellent service.
- Consistently make high-quality drinks and ensure accuracy in orders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs and remain calm and courteous at all times.
