JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled BMS Operator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of building operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively troubleshoot issues, implement control strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The BMS Operator will collaborate with various teams to enhance energy efficiency, improve occupant comfort, and support maintenance activities. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of building operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
- Perform regular system checks, maintenance, and updates to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Analyze data generated by BMS to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to support and coordinate scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Implement energy-saving strategies and control measures to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all BMS operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to BMS activities and performance metrics.
- Assist in the training and development of junior staff and provide guidance on BMS operations and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to building management systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS).- Strong understanding of Building Management Systems, HVAC systems, and energy management principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations regarding building operations and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends for operational improvements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications related to BMS and building operations.
- Certifications in HVAC, building automation, or related fields are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
