JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at an esteemed Engineering Consulting firm based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to driving the growth and expansion of our services within the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of developing new business opportunities in a competitive environment. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and leveraging industry knowledge to ensure our firm's continued success and market leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets and enhance market presence.
- Identify and research potential clients and projects in the engineering sector, prioritizing leads based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities, utilizing insights to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project management and engineering, to ensure alignment between client needs and service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor project execution and client satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to foster long-term relationships.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility and establish connections.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or a related field;- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the engineering consulting industry.
- Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of the engineering sector, including relevant regulations, standards, and market dynamics in Saudi Arabia.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and partners.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
