JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As the Business Manager of the Hydroponic Farm, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the farm's operations, from production and quality control to sales and marketing. Your role involves strategic planning, financial management, team leadership, and ensuring the farm operates efficiently while meeting quality and sustainability standards.

* Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
* Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for business growth.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the hydroponics farm, including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
* Proven experience in agricultural management, preferably in hydroponic farming or greenhouse production.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Solid understanding of hydroponic farming principles, crop cultivation techniques, and plant nutrition.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations, environmental sustainability practices, and quality assurance standards.
* Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost analysis.
* Ability to analyze market trends and consumer preferences to inform business decisions.
