Job Description
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers.
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can display a passion for perfection and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Degree from School for Tourism and Hotel Management preferred.
- Must be a strong team player with strong departmental cooperation.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Fluent in English and Arabic language with a third language as an asset.
- Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
- Must have the ability to assess and make decisions based on strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to maintain excellent professional presentation and grooming.
- Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office products and Property Management System.
- Luxury five-star experience necessary.
- Must be willing to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts (according to the needs of the guests).
- Must be able to stand for 90% of their scheduled time.
