Overview

Responsible for implementing, administering and coordinating Company-wide Professional and Career Development programs serving GC 6-14 employees and non-employees. Provide support and counseling services to all employees and department HR coordinators to ensure an effective developmental process.

Responsible for the coordination of Company-wide in house, in=kingdom and out of kingdom Career Development and Training programs and monitors compliance with program ground rules. Coordinates professional training programs as appropriate. Provides professional and career development advice, information and guidance in collaboration with departmental training personnel at the Division Head level and below. Assist in coordinating academic, technical and professional training programs by providing services inclusive of IT solutions, career planning, program selection and program criteria.

Key Responsibilities

A. Monitors performance and assesses academic progress and skill acquisition of Professional

and Career Development Program participants and counsels as necessary

B. Communicates on a regular basis with sponsors regarding candidates' placement, registration, progress in the assignment and special concerns.

C. Assists in the placement or registration of candidates in academic, technical, medical, vendor, and international company courses an programs. Reviews registration of out-of-Company/out-of-Kingdom courses.

D. Screens and evaluates Development program candidates and reviews nature of proposed assignment to ensure proper placement/meaningful assignment.

E. Participates in campus visits. Meets with participants. Assists in the preparation of campus visit report

F. Assists in the evaluation of Educational Refund Plan applications.

G. Participates in the orientation of new participants.

H. Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by the group leader.

I. Ensures program evaluation and quality assurance is conducted with adherence to the policies and guidelines of the program.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

A. Bachelor Degree in Education, Human Resources Management, Business or related fields.

B. Four (4) years of Corporate experience in Training/Personnel functions, or 4 years with Saudi Aramco including a minimum of 2 years in professional and career development-related activities.

C. Good proficiency in spoken and written English. Fluent spoken and written Arabic is necessary for those dealing with in-Kingdom and Gulf training institutions.

D. Strong human relations skills and understanding of Saudi Arab culture. Ability to maintain confidentiality and to tactfully handle sensitive issues. Knowledge of Development Programs, Leadership and Professional Education courses.
