Chief Accountant - Saudi Arabia

Our client is a mobile telecommunications company with two operated brand stores that provide telecommunications services to retail customers as well as provide mobile prepaid cards and handsets. As a subsidiary of a major conglomerate of companies, this company has been acquired and now wish to grow their finance team. This role is responsible for the day to day finance and accounts operations for the company.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for the following:
- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Forecasting and Budgeting.
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Perform project cost forecasts / budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
- Preparation of timely monthly payments and cash flow.
- Review and approve payment vouchers and journal entries
- Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the Financial Controller in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
- Issue project cost reports for review and approval.
- Support the Financial Controller in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements.
