JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in the Food & Beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization and providing strategic guidance to the finance team. The position is based in Riyadh and offers the opportunity to play a key role in the company's financial management and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including the supervision of accounting staff and the implementation of financial processes and controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Manage the cash flow, working capital, and financial risk of the organization, and ensure the optimization of financial resources.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting principles, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function.
Requirements:
Candidate Profile• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role in the Food & Beverage industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific financial management and reporting requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards, as well as experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business performance and operational efficiency through financial insights and recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct.
• Bilingual is preferred, and fluent English is must.
• Must have strong knowledge about these software like SAP, Foodics, Xero & Excel
