JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for driving the development of the Asset Management strategy and the implementation of Asset Management policies, procedures, codes, and technical standards. This role will help to deliver improved asset performance across the City and County Assets, resident-focused asset management policy advice and solutions and the management of the Municipality Operations performance management framework.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Plans and directs the development of asset management strategy which includes the development of a strategic asset management plan. This will also include the development of an overall IAM-strategy and implementation approaches for the county and city, as per the best practices and requirements.
* Deliver improved Asset Performance by optimising operational, maintenance, renewal, acquisition, and divestment activities.
* Provide overall change control function for processes and procedures, work standards and work instructions. This includes management of the Process and Procedure Manual, AM/FM Field Manuals, any other process standardisation tools and the IAM Technical Standards Library.
* Accountable for the development and management of Asset Register, Condition Assessment methodology and criticality analysis.
* Accountable for the development, implementation, and application of operational and technical governance in relation to city assets, systems, and facilities.
* Lead governance processes to ensure accountability of the operational and service performance across IAM implementations within the city/county and other core functions.
