JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on civil and structural engineering. This role will involve overseeing and managing civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to the successful completion of projects within the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil and structural engineering projects within the oil and gas industry.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
- Identify and address any design or construction challenges that may arise during the project.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in civil and structural engineering.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional engineering license (PE) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in civil and structural engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and ETABS.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is preferred.
