JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Extensive experience on behalf of a Contractor in the writing of high-quality construction claims, preferably in a Civil Engineering and/or major Project environment including experience of international projects.
• Detailed understanding of the language and strategies used when writing claims, including advantages and disadvantages of each and ability to recommend options in particular circumstances having regard to particular objectives, project factual context, contract provisions, available data and the like.
• Construction related degree (or equivalent) from recognized university or educational establishment, preferably in or with heavy element of commercial and contractual management such as Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Preferably a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and/or the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (or equivalent).
