JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Cloud Data Warehouse Engineer for our Partner from the Media Industry based in Riyadh, KSA
Contract duration: 12 months, extendable.

The role:
• Work with the IT Team and business users to understand business requirements
• Design and develop data ingestion processes and ETL ELT logic encompassing Fivetran cloud data warehouse.
• Play an active role in all stages of a data solution life cycle: acquisition, ingestion, curation, publication, quality, and metadata to ensure consistency with data management standards, data governance and best practices.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data.
• Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
• Will require understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and unstructured data handling.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. Degree or higher in Data Science or Computer Science.
• Certification in Data Warehousing or similar. GCP Data Engineer certification is a plus.
• Practical in-depth knowledge of Database designing, administration etc. (SQL and NoSQL Technologies)
• Strong coding skills in Python, R, LookML, Hadoop, SQL etc.
• Basic Development skills using .NET, C# etc. for Web, Desktop and Mobile app platforms.
• Good understanding of GCP and relevant stack FiveTran, Cloud Data Fusion, Big Query and Looker.
• Skilled with Google Analytics, Firebase, and relevant marketing data sources.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical knowledge and working experience desirable
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Arabic fluency useful.
