Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Commercial Manager to join our award-winning team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with clients' PM team as well as their procurement department.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Reviewing and ensuring the consistency, accuracy, traceability and completeness of reports, valuations, measurements, progress claims, and ensuring BOQs comply with the contracts requirement;
  • Ensuring agreed/approved procedures have been adhered to and implemented in compliance with the clients' policies.
  • Preparing and managing the clients' financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Assessing the monthly incurred value, validating vendors' (contractor/consultant) work estimates, and ensuring monthly interim payment for its accuracy, consistency, and continuity of cost data.
  • Executing the claims management and administration - reviewing, investigating, identifying, notifying, handling and tracking causes, checking validity, assessing time and cost impacts, negotiating and making recommendations to the client.
  • Initiating the contract change management and administration - change notices, management of change register, change log and database; overseeing VOs, correctness, accuracy, traceability and per the scope defined in the contract accordingly rejecting/recommending for the issuance of VO.
  • Managing the contract management and administration - supervision, review, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting the performance against contract, issuing notices.
  • Assisting the project teams in the assembly, review, and routing of contractual documents.
  • Participating in regular project team meetings to provide status, discuss issues, and provide support for any situation that requires variation orders, payment authorizations, and the processing of invoices.

Qualifications

  • To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' experience, with high-rise experience preferred from a similar role within a PMC, partnered with a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
