Communication Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Communication Engineer to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The Communication Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining communication systems to support the operations of the oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing communication systems including radio, microwave, fiber optic, and satellite systems to support the operations of oil and gas facilities.
- Evaluating the existing communication infrastructure and making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of communication systems with other operational systems.
- Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of communication systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Participating in the planning and execution of communication-related projects.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations for communication systems in the oil and gas sector.

REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing communication systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of communication technologies including radio, microwave, fiber optic, and satellite systems.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for communication system design and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve communication system issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for communication systems in the oil and gas sector.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
