JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Compliance Manager position is accountable for all the compliance operations of the company. Managing a small compliance team, the compliance manager will be responsible for the Financial Security, Know Your Customer (KYC), Clients’ Interest Protection, Professional Ethics and Market Integrity.

• Implementation of the target compliance models and of the Remediation plan for the organisation.
• Overall organisation of the compliance functions within company.
• Industrialization of Compliance controls and validation of KYC files for on-boarding and re-certification of all clients.
• Carrying out KYC duties:
• Maintain and expound the KYC policies, including the merchant scoring.
• Accompany deployment of the KYC policies in businesses (e.g. advice on translation into business procedures and policies).
• Involvement in projects related to businesses.
• Define KPIs for KYC reporting.
• Workflow tools (e.g. definition of compliance best practices).
• Database improvements (e.g. database requirements).
• Scoring tools.
• Build reporting architecture and consolidate reporting on KYC.
• Co-validation of control plan for KYC.
• Represent organization’s internal and external with SAMA & banks.
• Link with SAMA on all compliance regulation and processes.
• Establishment of professional and serene relationships with the other Domains and
• Compliance Operational Perimeters.

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate will be dynamic with more than 10 years within the Saudi banking regulatory environment, with thorough knowledge of the KYC procedures, reporting, etc.
• Good knowledge of the region and the organizations, establishments and businesses.
• Good understanding of IT systems used in the KYC area and their integrations with the government organizations within Saudi Arabia.
• The candidate should be proficient in English and Arabic.
• With high level of computer literacy with ability to optimize use of technology for work, the candidate will have the ability to analyze, summarize and convince the internal and external team.
