JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Candidate shall have leadership capability in organizing projects with emphasis on quality control, planning & cost control, coordination of interfaces;
- Coordinates and supervises the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction;
- Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget;
- Evaluates and helps determine appropriate construction delivery systems and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project;
- Oversees the performance of all trade, subcontractors and ensuring that all work is completed on schedule;
- Ensuring that appropriate planning tools are implemented by subcontractors, including accurate look ahead schedules;
- Ensuring that client furnished materials are requested in sufficient time to permit purchase and deliver to site without delay to the schedule;
- Establish and maintain the procedures for meetings, meeting documentation, follow up and tracking of issues and participate actively in resolving outstanding issues; and
- Review, analyze and prepare recommended actions for disputes and claims.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must hold an Engineering Degree acquired from an accredited university;
- Not less than 15 year experience in engineering and infrastructure projects;
- With management experience and minimum 8 years in senior management position;
- Successful applicant demonstrate a track record of good achievement from his previous organization;
- Must be fluent in English (Oral & Written);
- Experience in the G.C.C. countries is preferable; and
- Candidate must have transferable Iqama.
