The project:

Mace is providing project management consultancy services on a large luxury mixed-use development in the Umluj area of Saudi Arabia.

• You will provide technical expertise and support to delivery teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related subject.
• Fluent in both written and oral English.
• Experience supervising maritime construction projects in the Middle East.
• Working experience in supervising the construction of blockwork quay walls.
• Working experience in supervising the construction of marinas.
• Working experience in the management of the FIDIC suite of contracts, specifically FIDIC red and yellow book contracts in supervising large construction projects.
• Working experience in supervising multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments.
• Experience in using the full suite of Microsoft software in communicating and monitoring site progress issues, i.e. Word, Excel, Project and etc.

You’ll also have:

• Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the maritime construction sector.
• Construction management expertise.
• Developing commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams.
• Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
• Be able to attend and contribute meaningfully to meetings at all levels with all stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the workforce and management structure.
• Be able to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and/or willing to relocate to take up the position.
• Willing to work remotely for long periods.
