In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance team, it will provide you with the opportunity to help Deloitte in all aspects of statutory reporting, compliance and taxation matters. You'll focus on reporting and audit of financial statements, regulatory compliance, tax schedules and reporting and risk management.
During your tenure as a Senior Associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Lead overall audit activities with both internal / external auditors across all region
- Manage local tax reporting, including VAT, WHT, CIT, payroll taxes, and regulatory compliance within set deadlines
- Supports asset protection by monitoring internal controls
- Monitor and confirms financial condition by conducting internal finance team health checks
- Challenging procedures and processes as appropriate to ensure appropriate financial discipline and control.
- Engages with Finance Team Leads to roll out and implement policies, procedures etc.
- Supports with health checks on the business as requested by the Finance Director / CFO
- Conducts studies on internal risk levels and provides analysis to Team Lead
- Manage requirement for local content and ICV in applicable jurisdictions.
- Supports all period end closing activities and reporting as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Based in KSA, Riyadh
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Bilingual speaker English & Arabic is must.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred
- At least 5 Years in Audit or compliance role
- Strong financial, analytical and accounting skills
- Excellent level of accuracy to a high level of detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- In depth knowledge of financial operations and processes, including accounting, reporting and financial control activities
- Understanding of general/international accounting standards and practices
- Ability to influence senior management and to maintain a strong working relationship with managers across the organization.
- Good organization and office management skills to ensure coverage of workload
- Organization, thoroughness, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivity
- Risk Management, Communication, Leadership and relationship management
