Contracting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Contracting Manager (CM) shall lead all contracting efforts and be responsible for managing the spending on services. CM shall obtain quality products at competitive prices in a timely fashion to ensure maximum value and profitable operations. CM has the responsibility for ensuring the code of ethics following policy, procedures and applicable local regulations. CM shall demonstrate strong leadership and managerial competencies, including integrity, accountability, communication skills and commitment to teamwork and excellence in responsibilities such as selecting, mentoring, coaching, supervising, motivating and training Contracting staff.

Requirements:
Experience
At least 12 years of relevant experience in a contract management role.

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business and Operations Management is preferable

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Broad knowledge of supply chain
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
• Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and energetically approach tasks assigned
• Ability to demonstrate excellent common sense and sound judgment
• Ability to perform at high levels in a changing work environment.
