Contracts Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team in the oil and gas industry in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management and will play a crucial role in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft contracts for various aspects of the oil and gas industry, including procurement, construction, and service agreements
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure contracts meet business requirements
- Manage contract change requests and amendments, and assess the impact on the business and project timelines
- Monitor and track contract performance, including deliverables, milestones, and payments, and address any issues or discrepancies
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and propose solutions to minimize exposure

REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience as a Contracts Specialist or similar role in the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and contract negotiation best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office suite
