JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Summary:
The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for handling legal matters related to the company's operations, contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues. This role involves providing legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with local and international laws. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives while mitigating legal risks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
- Advise on regulatory compliance matters, including environmental laws, health and safety regulations, and labor laws.
- Represent the company in negotiations with external parties, including government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Stay updated on legal developments and changes in legislation that may impact the business.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, human resources, and operations, to provide integrated legal support.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for staff on legal compliance and risk management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in handling regulatory matters and legal issues.
- Proven experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian legal system and regulations.
- Professional certification in Law.
Salary:
SAR
20,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Housing allowance, Transportation allowance, Medical Insurance, 30 calendar days paid annual vacation with return air ticket annually
