JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Your responsibilities will include:

• Playing a role in supporting the project teams in monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services to ensure services are effective, meet statutory requirements and deliver the desired outcomes.
• Evaluating, developing, and managing systems and procedures for the monitoring of estimation across multiple work packages, and applied consistently across the project delivery teams. Including specific analysis, forecast, value benchmarking costs of the program.
• Monitoring project delivery teams to ensure costs/rates are benchmarked, and continually evaluated and that our required reporting to the client is undertaken effectively.
• Identifying recurring/potential recurring claims across the project delivery teams and offer support to mitigate
• Collaborating with colleagues across organizational lines to obtain and communicate business information necessary for reporting purposes.
• Coordinating with the delivery area leadership teams.
• Assisting in developing and implementing commercial estimating strategy.
• Managing consistency of estimation.
• Providing assurance and compliance with the program.
• Contributing towards continuous improvement processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

About you

• You have a degree qualified (in a related field, preferably Quantity Surveying/Cost Management) work experience, including senior managerial experience in estimation, including managing teams.
• Professional registration with active professional membership together with KSA experience is desired/preferred.
• In-depth understanding of Cost Management Processes, together with Cost Estimation methods and integration with change and contract management. Experience with PRISM, ACONEX and Cost-X, and other computer software (Excel, etc).
• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated, extended teams.
• You will have a construction or project management consultancy background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
