We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in overseeing project costs and ensuring the successful delivery of our client's objectives.

Position Overview:

As a Cost Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs throughout the entire lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and implement effective cost control measures. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in cost management within the engineering and construction industry, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost estimates, considering all relevant factors.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any variances.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost information.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide recommendations to optimize project budgets.
• Implement and maintain robust cost control processes to mitigate risks and ensure project profitability.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address cost-related queries and concerns.
• Prepare regular cost reports and updates for project stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cost management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cost Manager in a Project Management Consultancy or client role.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in relevant software tools for cost management.
