JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
My client is a leading saudi based engineering company with an excellent reputation a track record of working on some of the countries most high profile projects. They are currently looking to strengthen their head office team and are looking to recruit a design director to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives through effective and efficient management of Design Service division. The role will involve the following;
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives and the associated key performance indicators (KPIs) for optimizing the performance of the Design Services division with the goal of meeting or exceeding the established benchmarks.
- Implement strategies to enhance operational and financial performance of the business.
- Forecast the resource requirement and ensure providing accurate information for the annual budgeting process.
- Lead the implementation of "collaborative studio leadership model."
- Improve the design capabilities in line with a sustainable staffing model.
- Lead multidisciplinary design studio to ensure the delivery of creative design solutions to a diverse range of clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates should have a degree in engineering or architecture and should ideally have some form of further educational qualification and be a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Candidates must have experience of managing large teams of multi disciplinary design and architectural teams and should ideally be familiar with the Saudi market.
