JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Randstad are working with an international project management consultancy as they require a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager to join the business on a number of large building developments in remote Saudi Arabia. The Design Manager will manage the entire design projects working with consultants both internal and external, acting as the point of contact ensuring project deliverables are achieved at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of multidisciplinary design from concept stage ensuring work is completed on time, budget and within contract terms
- Perform design review through the entire design process
- Monitor submittals by the design consultants to obtain approvals and permits
- Schedule the submission of the design to the client
- Support and provide leadership to the team
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering
- 12+ years of experience managing the design of major building projects
- Lead Design Consultant or real estate development experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Middle East experience (preferred)
