JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Manage and facilitate the end-to-end Tram infrastructure projects to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure projects such as mass transit county-wide in accordance to the standards and regulations and to ensure feasibility and budgets are met.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Researches, benchmarks, manages and maintains the development of the overall Tram unit activities and strategies and development goals and standards.
* Identifies, develops, implements and maintains schemes, regulations, processes, methodologies and systems for the effective management of infrastructure projects.
* Facilitate the development of general Trams plans for the implementation of projects, while defining the intermediate steps required in order to ensure optimal and effective work schedules and project operations.
* Manage the Trams development expenditure and quality control systems to ensure effective planning, accurate forecasts and ongoing monitoring of project execution.
* Ensure to build and develop strategic relationships with third party service providers ensuring strong governance so that compliance/regulatory standards are met.
* Identifies and anticipates potential risks and problems and find measures and solutions in a timely manner.
* Ensure to coordinate with the management of design reviews and safety audits, ensuring the consistent application of standards and technical excellence.
* Manage current trams infrastructure and recommend requirements for new projects and infrastructure upgrading initiatives to support County development.
* Provide input to the sector's strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with overall vision and mission.
* Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.
* Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.

REQUIREMENTS

* The successful candidate will be strong in tram development with a focus on large and complex projects. Strong leadership skills and management skills are required.
* Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Engineering or equivalent.
* 6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role.
