JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Carry out minor and major services to diesel engine generator sets at customer sites
• Visit customer sites and perform diesel generator installations
• Carry out site surveys in order to assist in project design and proposals
• Perform commissioning at customer sites in liaison with electrical contractors
• Troubleshoots and repairs of Automatic transfer switches, generator controls and engine related mechanical failures
• Performs routine inspection, Preventative Maintenance by changing oil and filter of Diesel Generator
• Perform Refueling task
• Generator should be clean with any Oil drips, visual inspection and condition of hoses and belts and avoid any dirt at equipment.
• Familiar with current methods and techniques of repairing and maintaining generators
• Comprehensive knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting generator equipment
REQUIREMENTS
• University Qualifications: Associate diploma/degree
• Nature and length of previous experience: 5 years of experience in same role
