Draftsman

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Ensure that the hardware, software requirements and license are upto date.
• Buildings to be designed efficiently using FrameCad, Revit & 3D Max.
• To meet local and international design standards. Buildings design range up to G+4 using Light Gauge Steel Profiles.
• Co-ordinate with Production & Estimation Team with regards to enquiries and design requirements.
• Co-ordinate within Engineering with regards to other design disciplines and internal procedures and operations.
• Co-ordinate with Production and Operations Departments regarding the execution of designs.
• Check designs and assist with technical problems which may arise.
• Ensure that internal procedures are maintained and produce reports for management.
• Maintain and co-ordinate with design team.

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of experience with Revit, Framecad, & 3D Max in prefabrication industry.
• Knowledge of BIM, Architectural and MEP design is mandatory.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture.
• Degree from a technical college also acceptable.
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
• Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
