JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the proficient support of the RSLFAC mission through the professional application of his assigned duties.
- Operates heavy/light automotive equipment as directed comprised of sedans, station wagons (GMC Suburban), pickups, and cargo trucks.
- Responsible for pick-up and delivery of packages, containers, and materials designated by dispatcher.
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on his assigned vehicle and coordinates repair maintenance when necessary to repair vehicle faults.
- Conduct scheduled runs on time.
- Assists in the loading and offloading of his vehicle; secures loads with proper tie down methods, and adequately covers materials from harmful exposure.
- Shall be proficient in the operation of standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Keeps vehicle free of excessive dirt, trash in the cab or cargo area, and washed periodically.
- Prepares and submits to management reports concerning any vehicle accident involving program vehicles or incidents of a serious nature involving legal situations.
- Implements and sustains initiative in care of equipment and employs safe driving practices.
- May be required, by directive of the immediate supervisor, the Program Management or his designated representative, to perform other duties.
- Assist the personal and soft pack transfer upon notice from RLSFAC for all in kingdom moves.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic is desirable.

Experience & Education:
- High school and five years of experience as a driver is required.
- Experience in operation of material handling equipment (forklifts) is desired.
- Driving record of at least one year accident free driving is desired.
- Able to read, speak, and understand Arabic and English is desired and must be able to give and follow verbal instructions.
- Must have a current Saudi public driver's license to operate light and heavy capacity vehicles.
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment of up to two (2) tons capacity.
- Non-smoker is desired.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- Must be capable of obtaining a valid light equipment operator's license.
- Ability to travel domestically.
