Role Summary:

ECT is a nine-month program designed to give recent university/college graduates challenging work assignments, training and development, and exposure to leadership. The program combines hands on experience with training to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in BHGE.
ECT is open to recent university/college graduates of various disciplines including, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Field Service Engineering, Operations, Information Technology, and more.

Essential Responsibilities:

Job Summary
- The Sales Engineer will assist the sales team in a pre-sales role to qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities.
- The Sales Engineer performs discovery, analysis of business needs and definition of client requirements in conjunction with the technical requirements for project work, as well as ascertain fit and suitability of our other products, including managed services, within the client network.
- The Sales Engineer works with the Engineering staff to convey requirements to the client and provide insight into the technical options available for network and server infrastructure. The role will also aid in designing leading-edge solutions containing a wide variety of technologies. In addition to working with other support functions to ensure the smooth execution of orders.
- The Sales Engineer will also work closely with the Account Manager to determine requirements, counts, and configuration of our managed service offerings in order to provide a cost effective and comprehensive managed solution.
- The Sales Engineer will confirm that products meet the prospect's requirements and will assist sales in technical qualification. Throughout the proposal process, the Sales Engineer will articulate and demonstrate solutions, influence customer's technical requirements, and position products relative to competition.
- The Sales Engineer will work with engineers throughout the proposal process to ensure the task sheets, SOW's and proposals consistently contain all relevant information. The Sales Engineer is responsible for the thorough completion and processing of all documents throughout the pre-sales process.

Job Duties
- Attend pre-sales client meetings and presentations with account representatives.
- Determine scope and develop proposals.
- Identify client requirements: (technical requirements, client infrastructure, configuration, and requirements), technical design (including solution configurations and diagrams) and planning phases of the sales cycle. With the cooperation with product engineering team.
- Work with Major Accounts, Purchasing, Engineer and Support Center groups to ensure successful delivery of solutions to customers.
- Provide pre-sales support for new and existing customers.
- Successfully demonstrate products and solutions in front of prospects.
- Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings/conference calls and sales trainings.
- Travel, as needed, to industry events, prospect and partner sites.
- Deliver on line and on site product demonstrations (as required or requested).
- Responsibility for being part of the Product Development Team in which will build, deliver and manage proof of concept product evaluations and pilot projects.
- Additional responsibilities include providing on-site support, handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences; and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Fresh graduate with a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Preferred Petroleum/Mechanical engineering.
- Authorized to work in your country full-time and without restriction.
- Fluent in Arabic and English is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Technical sales support knowledge if exist.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; professional presentation skills; self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
