JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Designer III to work on the engineering and project management services for our ongoing Program in Saudi Arabia
- Reporting to senior designer and engineer
- Working on drafting/designing works on one line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams
- Working on drafting / designing works on power layout drawings, lighting layout drawings, grounding layout drawings, Electrical Area Classification drawing and ICCP drawings
- Check and request drawing from I-plant, generate the MTO on the drawings and generate the MMS based on project scope
- Generate and update the cable & conduit schedule
- Create a drawings list
- Responsible on quality product and inter discipline check
REQUIREMENTS
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Design in Oil & Gas Project
- Minimum education diploma in electrical engineering
- Membership of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory
- Experiences in Saudi Aramco Codes and standards with excellent safety awareness
- Proficient in software design 2D Micro station and AutoCAD
- Familiar with one line diagrams, panel schedules, schematic diagrams and wiring diagram drawings
- Able to implemented lighting circuitry based on lighting calculation (by others), grouping circuit and plot it into lighting layout drawings
- Good understanding on drafting guidelines such as lines thickness, texts size, dimensions and etc
- Understand on plotting HAC into the drawing
- Demonstrate strong skills and multitasking ability
- Experience in the field works objective such as site visit and as-built drawings purposes.
