JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job duties
Responsible for electrical maintenance, service and repair of plant and equipment on a twenty-four hour/day continuously operated process plant to ensure safe, efficient and effective plant operations. In this role, you will assume the following responsibilities: Not limited to the following: Safely and efficiently maintain, service and repair plant equipment in accordance with procedures and operating instructions. Minimize downtime by accurate fault finding, investigating and determining repair actions and review and implement the improvement Complete any documentation/reports as required. Isolate plant and equipment to their level of authorization for maintenance purposes. Undertake and successfully complete training and development activities. Provide on-the-job training for other Maintenance, personnel as required. Participate in team projects. Identify and share continuous improvement ideas that may enhance maintenance, safety, process, and cost reduction. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping. Display safe working practices in the performance of all duties and identify, correct and report hazardous situations.
Requirements:
Experience and skills required for the jobYou will ideally be required to have the following requirements: High School/Diploma in Electrical Maintenance 1 - 2 Years of experience in related field Familiar with plant equipment (ex; Rotate Machine, Instrument device Invertor, Sequencer). Familiar working within a manufacturing environment preferred Familiar within the Chemical sector or related industry preferred
