JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
What you will be doing:
- Carries out occasional repair work as required.
- Prevents problems from occurring in the hotel's technical installations.
- Implements the corrective action plans as communicated by the Technical Manager.
- Follows the preventive maintenance program.
- Applies water hygiene procedures.
- Carries out routine maintenance and repairs to all types of electrical equipment such as laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment including motors and motor controls, fans, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and emergency generators.
- Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest or public area.
- Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Attends to repair and maintenance of electrical low-tension panels.
- Attends to electrical and ancillaries' installations such as audio/video cables, computer cables and CCTV systems.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Experience is an asset.
- Working experience in the same capacity preferably in 4* or 5* hotels.
- Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills.
- Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
