Overview

Upstream Support Division/ Upstream Operational Analytics Group (UOAG) requires an Engineer to deliver the following primary activity sets (representative and not inclusive)

Upstream BL Operational Metrics

Managing and tracking the Upstream BL Operational Metrics and AAs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Also, review and measure Upstream BL Operational Metrics, Scorecards & KPIs and ensure accuracy of Upstream BL data.

Industrial Benchmarking & Trends Analysis

Conducts Industrial Benchmarking & Trends Analysis studies, business cases, and project proposal reports. Also, monitor International Market Trends (news highlights & technologies)

Technology and Digital Coordination Works with organizations at all levels in order to coordinate activities related to Digital Transformation and other required interface with IT organization

Risk Management

Coordinate and consolidate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process within Upstream BL and serve as risk coordinator for BL who will consolidate and report business risks for the Upstream BL

Special Project and Ad Hoc Report

Analyzing periodic performance and for preparing the resulting management reports using plan, actual, and forecast data, thus enabling the business to manage performance. Complete ad hoc report requests from management and follow up on action items

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate is preferred to have the following:
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and/or Upstream.
- Skills in developing and rolling out performance initiatives from benchmarking, risk management, processes and workflows
- Skills in training young professionals and creating training programs

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must have the following:
- Msc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or Computer Science
- Engineering analysis skills such as analyzing information and promoting process improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, in English.
- Provide analytical findings and recommendations related to upstream operations.
- Demonstrate abilities in problem analysis and resolution.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to elevate the quality of work.
