JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Represents the Company in communications with the client, and manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of the project. Provides leadership and direction to the project team, consultants and contractors during the planning, development and delivery phases of the project. Supports the Project Director with the establishment of the project delivery strategy, planning, administration, schedule and cost control, design reviews for completeness and constructability, management and coordination of all parties involved.
- Managing the construction core team, covering master planning, building Packages and infrastructure works.
- Management of the client and supervising Engineers, architects, and design professionals
- Oversee and guide consultants design progress activities. Monitor and verify design progress and submittals at all design phases.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly progress reports and minutes of meeting.
- Be instrumental in establishing a culture throughout all project stages of leading by example, seeking out problems ahead of time and finding practical and cost effective solutions in collaboration with other project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, guidance and advice to the project team.
- Ensure work is conducted with quality assurance protocols. Identify and resolve issues, including management, technical or administrative, to ensure that the project objectives are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated knowledge of design, production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards.
- Experience of working on Large Villa Complexes
- Demonstrated experience and capability in managing a complex project from design through construction document production and construction administration with a multi-disciplined team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and maintain a professional company image.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Ability to organize, lead and motivate people.
- Mature relationship building and people skills.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience and successful track record managing design and construction of major projects. Previous work experience in the Middle East is desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant Engineering or Project Management.
- Member of Professional Engineering or Construction Management Society or other recognized body is desirable.
