JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
About the Role:
Propel Consult is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to join our client’s team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and developing the enterprise architecture framework, aligning technology solutions with strategic business goals, and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop the enterprise architecture framework, principles, and standards based on best practices and business objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs and align technology solutions with strategic goals.
- Conduct analysis of business and IT processes, identify gaps, and create roadmaps for architectural improvements.
- Design and document enterprise-level solutions, including systems, applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, products, and services that align with the organization's architecture strategy.
- Ensure architectural compliance by conducting regular reviews and audits of existing systems and proposed enhancements.
- Assist with project planning, estimation, and risk assessment to ensure successful delivery of architectural initiatives.
- Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes related to enterprise architecture.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 12 years of proven experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an Enterprise Architect or similar role, preferably within large-scale organizations.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of enterprise-level architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Solid understanding of software development processes, distributed systems, cloud-based architectures, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Proficiency in assessing business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications:
- TOGAF or other related certifications are a plus.
Additional Knowledge:
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.
