DUTY & RESPONSIBILITIES
ESTIMATOR - PSI SAUDI ARABIA
• Position Description : Estimator – Sheet Metal Works
• Position Reporting to : Sales Manager / General Manager
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
• Estimators put as accurate a bid together as they can, allowing risk money or man-hours for areas of the drawings and specifications that are not cleared up prior to tender closing.
ESTIMATOR DUTY & RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Estimator is responsible for the quality performance of the Estimation work executed.
• To ensure the correct and timely response of quotations is achieved for all received enquiries & tenders.
• To ensure the prices quoted are correct in the LPO against the quotation prices & update the sales head & the concerned team member about any discrepancy.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Receive & distribute all incoming enquiries & documents to the concerned Sales Engineer and the Sales
• Coordination Team.
• Organize & arrange the estimates for all logged incoming Enquiries.
• Preparing Price Estimation & check for the corrections.
• Preparing the Quotations
• Preparing the costing for each quotation
• Preparing Auto-Cad Drawings as & when required.
• Revising the quotations such as discounts, item change etc, after getting concerned approval.
• Getting the price of Fasteners from the Purchase Dept to prepare the quotations.
• New Customer account opening in the ERP to be coordinated with the accounts dept.
• Calling up Customers to clarify doubts regarding the enquiry.
• Answering customer Enquiries over mail and calls.
• Checking with the production dept to know the logistic cost required to export the materials.
• Follow up with the sales team for new enquires.
• The price to be quoted to be discussed with the Sales Manager / Sales Engineer.
• Recheck and send the Quotations along with Costing Sheets to Sales Manager for the approval to quote.
• Variables in Estimation Cost & Quotation selling prices are to be consulted with Sales Manager.
• Responsible for non-generation of work orders for the LPO not having a signed/Authorized or correct LPO’s.
• Check and sign Invoices with attach signed DO copies.
• Ensure Invoices are made for all deliveries in every end of the month.
• Responsible for Quotation process time to be reduced.
• No discounts to be provided to any Customer / Sales Engineer without the consultation of Sales Manager.
• Takes care of revised quotation with unit rate discounts.
• Deliver commitment to be made in consultation of Sales Manager / Operations Manager / Production Engineer.
Salary:
SAR
6,000 to 10,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Should be a diploma or degree holder in the mechanical engineering with sound knowledge of Cost &
• Estimation in the Sheet Metal Industry.
• Should have sound knowledge of variable cost estimation of the Sheet Metal Works.
• Should be proficient in ACAD & reading of the engineering drawings.
• Should be proficient in MS Excel & knowledge of the relevant engineering standards of the industry.
• Should have excellent coordination skills & work under pressure.
• Should have minimum 5 years of experience in the similar capacity & be well spoken in English language.
• Salary to be discussed & negotiated.
