JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and overall goals.
• Develop event concepts, themes, and formats that align with the organization's vision and values.
• Create comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate logistics such as catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, accommodations, and decorations.
• Develop event concepts that incorporate innovative AV and technical solutions.
• Plan and design advanced audio-visual setups, lighting arrangements, and technical workflows.
• Identify and source specialized AV equipment, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Collaboratively with agency support source and negotiate with venues, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.

Event Coordination:
• Oversee the implementation of event plans to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Manage event registration, guest lists, and attendee communication.
• Coordinate with speakers, performers, and presenters to ensure they are well-prepared.
• Supervise on-site setup, registration, and breakdown of events.
• Address any issues or emergencies that arise during events to ensure a positive experience for attendees.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and execution.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by events.
