JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Foreman - Plumbing (x3) - AF Engineering - Makkah
- Supervise Mechanical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications to insure quality and compliance with job standards.
- Reads and interprets shop drawings to subordinates.
- Issues purchase requisition for site materials and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring timely availability of materials for projects.
- Approves all work permits for the purpose of ensuring compliance with applicable legal codes ( building, health, safety).
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders for the purpose of receiving instructions, answering questions, scheduling work, carrying out assignments, and providing information about work in progress.
- Coordinates activities for the purpose of ensuring safety of employees and property and to minimize the exposure to injury, loss, and/or liability.
- Diagnoses problems and/or coordination issues with HVAC / Plumbing / Electrical systems and all Mechanical systems.
- Monitor productivity of work teams / staff and provide accurate feedback on performance subordinates.
- Ensures meeting the assigned budget by monitoring and controlling material usage and productivity of staff.
- Oversees assigned area (e.g. work area,vehicles, tools, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring all are maintained in safe, clean, and good working conditioned standards.
- Coordinates activities with other trades areas and outside contractors.
- Maintains records of jobs performed and hours worked by employees.
- Inspects new installations of plumbing fixtures,firefighting,Piping ,drainage and water heaters and ensures code requirements are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Mechanical or BE in Mechanical.
- 5-8 years of Industry experience in gulf is preferable.
- Communication skills.
- Perseverance and hard working nature.
- Stress-Management skills.
- Problem-Solving skills.
