Our client is looking Geospatial (GIS), Systems Automation and Technology Lead which is responsible for leading the evolution, automation, and integration of core processes within the geospatial (GIS) domain. This role involves providing innovative and creative solutions to solve complex geospatial problems, coaching and guiding through geospatial mentorship, and serving as a change agent and champion for all GIS initiatives within the organization. The individual in this role will possess domain expertise, develop a GIS vision, design a roadmap to achieve it, and lead the organization on the journey. Additionally, they will challenge thinking, encourage change, inspire and motivate individuals, and foster a teaching/learning environment that challenges members to apply critical thinking to geospatial intelligence. The Geospatial (GIS), Systems Automation and Technology Lead will also evangelize the use of GIS capabilities, stimulate new ideas and concepts, infuse GIS innovation into the organization’s culture, and consistently focus on effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement through constant self-assessment and organizational assessment.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience in the geospatial (GIS) domain, with a focus on systems automation and technology.
• Proven track record of providing innovative and creative solutions to solve complex geospatial problems.
• Strong coaching and mentorship skills in the geospatial (GIS) domain.
• Excellent leadership and change management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of GIS capabilities and the ability to infuse GIS innovation into an organization’s culture.
• Strong focus on effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement through constant self-assessment and organizational assessment.
