JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary team of our client in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to the dietary needs of patients and staff, ensuring food safety and exceptional taste, while managing kitchen operations efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan diverse menus accommodating various dietary restrictions and healthcare nutrition guidelines.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a motivated and productive team.
- Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare professionals to ensure meal plans meet patients’ health requirements.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Implement and uphold strict compliance with healthcare regulations and food safety standards.
- Continuously improve culinary services by incorporating feedback and staying current with food trends and nutrition advancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.- Must be able to join immediately or maximum of 30 days' notice period
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and food safety regulations applicable to healthcare environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in compliance-driven settings.
- Certification in culinary arts and food safety (e.g., HACCP) is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt to cultural preferences and dietary needs specific to the Saudi Arabian healthcare context.
Salary:
SAR
13,000 to 18,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
