JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

You will lead the development and implementation of BI strategies, oversee the management of data assets, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to deliver actionable insights that support the organization's mission and objectives.

Client Details

My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Business Intelligence to join their team.

Description

* Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with the goals and priorities of [Client's Organization], ensuring that BI initiatives drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in public service delivery.
* Lead a multidisciplinary BI team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Oversee the collection, integration, and management of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Drive the development of advanced analytics models, reporting tools, and data visualizations to extract actionable insights and facilitate evidence-based decision-making across all levels of the organization.
* Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments, including but not limited to finance, human resources, planning, and operations, to understand their BI needs and priorities and deliver tailored solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience (7 years) in a senior leadership role in business intelligence, data analytics, or related areas, preferably within the public sector or government agencies.
* Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
* Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance excellence.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
