EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

THE ROLE

Customer Success Business Operations focuses on the successful creation, deployment, and execution of sales supporting processes, tools, and services. ME North represent diverse and rapidly growing region which consists of 5 countries (KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Pakistan)

As leader of the ME North Business Operations and integral part of the market unit leadership team, you play a critical role in ME North next growth chapter and in the Customer Success` ability to transform operations into a service-driven business that leads with business insights and secures highest standards of operational execution by leveraging Franchise practices and tools.

KEY TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role in enabling the Business Partners and supporting the next growth chapter of SAP ME North therefore focuses on:
• Driving Operational Excellence and scalable success: Drive SAPs proven Sales Franchise methodology and optimize the governance to bring Land, Adopt, Consume and Expand to life. Secure adoption through engaging physical / virtual enablement for Sales Management and quota carriers.
• Keep track on progress for both current quarter sales execution, while building the future of the business (Demand Generation) and provide proactive, consistent and ongoing benchmarking for sales teams to test and improve standards of Operational Excellence.
• You will also support the targeted rollout of Franchise innovations and new capabilities (ML/AI supported) to improve automation.

Build and foster trusted Business Relationships:
• Develop your team to transform into and serve as trusted business partners ("Co-Pilots") who can proactively consult and manage change to drive the right behaviors into the field.
• Lead by example and bridge conflict by establishing the same level of partnership with senior leaders in your geography or business area.
• Leverage the relation to foster simplification, structure, and value-add for all customer facing teams.

Leadership communication:
• Position yourself as a leader, leveraging existing communication channels and platforms.
• Build trust beyond your team to inspire and embrace the overall operations vision for ME North by showcasing your team's contributions.

Understand your business and market context:
• Being able to understand the market context in terms of growth drivers and the ability to articulate this into a tangible sales strategy, resulting in operational mapping of SAPs resources against market opportunity (Go-to-market) all the way from planning to operational implementation in strong alignment between industries and buying center dimensions.

Make and influence decisions:
• Interpret information, leverage insights, and utilize the right tools to provide strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to market unit leadership (MD, COO, Sales leadership).
• Align your team, tasks, and responsibilities accordingly to drive motivation and performance.

Enable adoption and best practice:
• Turn business priorities into a solid plan, positioning the change at leadership level for collaborative deployment.
• Leverage support through Centers of Expertise, facilitate exchange, and manage risks and escalations.
• Enable learning exchange and establish connections within your organization and with other business partner proactively to foster growth and accelerated adoption.
• Recognize best practice, success, and innovation - celebrate and share it.

Embrace and foster a one team mentality:
• Breaking down silos and proactively identifying joint solutions between different teams within operations.
• Demonstrate pride for operational excellence and respect for efforts under way, to create a positive and open-minded path forward for sales support and operational execution.

Team Leadership and General Management:
• Adhere to and execute management tasks in line with SAP's leadership principles and HR guidelines. Recruit, develop, and retain talent.
• Build, motivate, and inspire the team.
• Set clear objectives and coach for collaborative success.
• Proactively manage risks, budgets, and resources.
• Foster compliance in line with SAP guidelines.
• As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals.
• You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers.
• Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.
• All Sales Operations Business Partners are expected to have a solid understanding of all operations processes, tools, and services.
• From an annual perspective, your team and therefore your focus will be most on Sales Planning, Demand Management, and Deal Execution, followed by Performance Management and Go-to-Market. Business Partners will support the Forecasting process but optimize their time investment as automation increases.

REQUIREMENTS

Your success will be based on three core priorities:
• Steering and guiding the ME North market unit organization and SLT to success through best-practice, tools & processes and tangible business insights
• Sales manager success / feedback as well as visible leadership and accountability

Experience and Language Requirements
• 6+ years of professional working experience in Sales Operations, IT sector is a plus
• People manager's experience is the must
• Language requirement: English - fluent, Arabic - is an advantage

Education
• University degree
• MBA/ACCA/CMA - is an advantage
• Experience in Big 4 is an advantage
• Excel - advanced user
• Executive-level communication skills
