Head of Construction Management – Riyadh
CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking a Manager to oversee their Construction Management department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that all projects are managed safely, effectively, efficiently, and completed on time and within budget in accordance with the objectives of the client
• Managing and overseeing all phases of construction projects, from planning and design through to execution and completion
• Ensuring that all the contractors and supervision consultants, for different projects, are following the correct processes and procedures
• Developing and maintaining the department's operating structure, as well as tools to be deployed
• Coordinating and collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays that may arise
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, codes, and standards

Requirements:

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering
• At least 20 years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects, acting in a Senior Construction Manager role
• Experience of major government or semi-government international construction sites, with demonstrable history of managing: site engineering, project controls, environment, health and safety, contracts management, and quality
• Extensive history of construction management for water and wastewater works, with a background of engaging with government entities and/or utility providers
• Previous experience of working internationally, preferably in the Middle East
