HR Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Quest Search and Selection is looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager for an international luxury retail client in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, policy development, and Saudi localization efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices and local labour laws to effectively manage the workforce and contribute to a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfilment of positions.

2. Performance Management:
• Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

3. Policies and Procedures:
• Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Ensure that all employees are informed and trained on company policies, procedures, and compliance issues.
• Monitor and review HR processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

4. Saudi Localization:
• Lead initiatives to promote Saudi nationalization within the organization, ensuring compliance with local localization policies.
• Develop partnerships with local educational institutions and organizations to attract and retain Saudi talent.
• Implement programs that support the development and career advancement of Saudi employees.

5. Employee Relations:
• Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting open communication and employee engagement.
• Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
• Organize team-building activities and employee recognition programs.

6. HR Metrics and Reporting:
• Maintain and analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and inform decision-making.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on HR activities, including recruitment, performance, and employee turnover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in HR management, with a background in either HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labour laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in implementing localization strategies and programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite.
